Our galaxy is very average. It is of medium age and size and is, in every way, "regular". It is part of a cluster of other galaxies that are all locked together by gravity and it is not even at the center of those. Our sun is probably a "third generation" star in an arm of the spiral of our galaxy and, again, is nothing special. It is medium aged, smallish, and typical of many many other stars.

In short, while humans may be really special the place that we live is quite boring.

Nobody knows how wide is the universe, so nobody can tell where is its center.
We blindly claimed that man is the center, then the earth, then the sun, now the galaxy, then perhaps the youngest universe among universes...This shows that our minds have expanded, but we are still completely ignorant.
Instead of quarelling about what parts of the elephant is the real elephant, we should turn to the Messenger of God of our time for a proper education.

Why are you looking for scientific principals on a christian based theological website?

Kinda dumb don't you think?

In any case their conclusion is wrong. EVERY galaxy is receeding from every other galaxy. Therefore to any observer, all galaxies appear to be traveling away from them, which gives the false impression that the observer is in the center of the universe.

I don't see how our galaxy could be the center of the universe. There are so many other galaxies and I'm sure many are mind bogglingly older than ours.

Of course our galaxy isn't the center of the universe--it's just one of the billions of galaxies that exist.
