I always wear mine. It doesn't matter what percentage responds to this and says they don't wear them, that doesn't mean it's the smart thing to do.

No, I'm not a nervous safety nerd, I have always driven pretty fast cars, uh, let's say, as they are meant to be driven when conditions permit. These days, you'd want to wear them if only to keep you far enough from the airbag to keep it from turning your face into mush.

People think about dying like, "oh if it's my time, it's my time". But they don't think about doing everything they can reasonably do to prevent severe facial injuries or being put in a wheelchair.

Be smart. Don't neglect something so simple and easy that could make a big difference in the rest of your life. /lecture off ;)

All the time - I have had 2 friends get in accidents that would have killed them had they not been wearing their seatbelt. Also, I have airbags in my car, and if they deploy and someone isn't wearing a seatbelt, they can cause injuries such as broken jaw, biting through tongue, detached cornea and retina in the eyes, etc.

Plus Arizona makes you pay for any injuries that would have been prevented had you been wearing your seatbelt, even if the accident was not your fault! It's called Contributory Negligence. Just smarter, cheaper, and SAFER to wear them!

Absolutely Yes!! Wearing my seatbelt has saved my life, so it is well worth any minor annoyance.

Yes! Statistically, 70% survived the accident with their seat belts on and 80% died without their seat belts on.

ABSOLUTELY!

I have never moved a car without a seat belt. I start the engine and before I put the transmission in gear, I click my seat belt.

If they don't help in an acccident, why would race car drivers wear them????
