as a practical joke I am thinking of smashing a cake in her face when we go to Red Robin with her friends tonight. It's her b-day.

No. Althought a lot of people think this is funny stuff it doesn't mean your girlfriend will and if she doesn't or gets embarassed or her feelings hurt when you do it, you will feel like a cad for the rest of the evening. It could even be the straw that strains the relationship or she could come after you for revenge like supergluing things that shouldn't be superglued while you sleep. My advice is go to the B-day party and be her best friend and let her know how much you appreciate that she was born for you to have as a girlfriend and forget the juvenile shallow jokes that sometimes hurt people.

It's only a good idea if someone is going to be there to video tape it and/or take pictures of it. Otherwise...it's just a mess at the Red Robin.

Yes... if you want her to leave you for good. Why don't you feed her a piece of cake instead?

if she is one of those people who can take a joke like that and you know for sure she won't get mad at you, do it. If you are not 100% sure, DON'T do it.

Oh jeez, even though it might be funny she wont like it. If its towards the end of the evening maybe. at least she wont be ruined for the whole night.
