empty coke bottle, like a 20 oz. and put a treat in it, or some dry food. he'll shake it around like a rattle, and chew the heck out of it. just make sure he doesn't swallow plastic. my 2 1/2 year old still loves this.

Buy a toy called the Kong. It is a little expensive but undestructable and will last for years. It has a hole where you can put a milkbone or another treat and the dog has to work to get the treat out. It will keep your puppy occupied

Try purchasing the fleece toys with squeakers and others on eBay. You can buy them in bulk, and it's MUCH cheaper. Search "dog toys in bulk." I bought all of my puppy toys on eBay, and the ones I bought were hard rubber toys (for chewing), fleece toys with squeakers, puppy kong with stuffing, Nylabone chews, and regular soft bite toys with squeakers. He loved them all, and I didn't spend a fortune! Just look for sellers near where you live, so you don't get socked with shipping costs. Good luck!

When my dog was a puppy I would buy him those little beanie babies. Sometimes you can get them at McDonalds in the happy meals. But they were easy for him to carry around and he liked to chew on them. Even now that he is full grown he still LOVES them. as long as your puppy is a small breed dog.

Best thing is an old stuffed animal. You may go throgh alot theyll tear it up, or you can give them an old shoe and thats good for teething puppies too. Just make sure you put your good shoes up. lol

Dont buy your toys at a pet store. Look in the kids toys. They are always cheaper there. m

Go to Goodwill- stuffed animals are about a buck there. That's what I always do. Garage sales are good, too.
