Regardless of the claimed strides in overall quality, would you feel comfortable in purchasing a vehicle from a Korean car company? Why or why not? Thanks!

According to JDPower ratings, the Korean built cars are still nowhere near the Japanese quality as far as Asian car markets are concerned.

Also, my personal taste dont think any of the Korean cars are built to please the eye. Why do they have strange arches over wheels is beyond my interpretation.

I travel for work and rent cars every couple of months. The last two times I have had a Hyundai and was very impressed with the car. Will it last like a Toyota , most likely not but for the money I would say its a great value. The KIA I would shy away from.
