because the individuals in question are probably drunk/high. Not that I'm saying spanish people are drunks. Yet, most of the really loud ones I've known were. In fact, loud people in general tend to be drunks.

Hopefully the words "rude", "inconsiderate" and "stupid" in your question are just jokes. I REALLY hope that's true.

Spanish, in general, is spoken at a higher pitch than English. This may lead English speakers to believe that Spanish speakers are speaking louder.

However, if you ask people from many cultures, they will often say that Americans speak too loudly. This is because we use our breath differently from speakers of many languages.

I've never noticed that. You stop being rude and inconsiderate, not to mention plain old stupid. Quit making the rest of us Asians look bad.

I doubt you've ever even been to Spain! Spanish people generally tend to be louder than the English, but much quieter than the Germans or the French! And none of these folks are as loud as Americans are in public!

But all of it is just people conforming to their surroundings. Which is probably also what accounts for you appearing to be so undereducated, I'm sure you can't actually be that way!

I think it just depends on where you live. Hispanics are loud here in Texas too.....but then , so are all the other nationalities.
In California they spoke a little quieter.....just like everybody else.

Btw......don't be so rude , inconsiderate , and stupid yourself.

I think a more appropriate and less stereotypical question would be: "Why do people on cell phones speak so loudly in restaurants?"

Just so you know pong bing bing, Spanish people aren't half as rude as you were to my question. You've been reported and by the way, I'm not Spanish/Mexican.
