I want to give him away to someone who wont yell at him. I am tired of seeing him upset after our fights. I think its over.

Take the dog to an animal shelter. Now, can you tell yourself not to get another pet until you are able to handle the responsibility of pet ownership?
I am in no way singling you out by the following comments so please don't be offended.
hear all the time how people have to give a dog or cat away because the house it too small, they are moving, just don't want it anymore, spouse doesn't like animals, too big or small, a new baby is coming etc. etc. etc.
I work every day to place animals for adoption and I hear the same excuses over and over.

Does your dog have two legs? Sounds like you are talking about a person. Dogs do have feelings, but if you are fighting with your dog, there is a lot more going on here than a simple answer will help. Talk to the Humane Society, and please, talk to a counselor yourself. If this is a four legged dog, you really have attachment issues that you need to address. Good luck to both of you.

If you have fights with your dog instead of yelling at him because he peed in the hous or he tore something up show him the mess and tell him in a deep voice that it is NOT OK. then take him to behavior classes. they run some at pets mart that I know of. Good luck!!!

If he is young he may need more toys to play with then he wouldn't fight with you , and you could look for someone who loves dogs and would want him, try to find him a good home

jst ask him if he would like a new dad or mom, see if his tail goes blastic. You'll know it is time for him to go. If he grabs his leash, packs his toys and water/food dish he's been ready. He knows what you are saying and how you feel.

Explain that you don't know how to take care of him properly and find him a better home than yours.
