If you are only 14 and he is 21 then you shouldn't even be with him. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW IN MOST STATES. He could be looking at a statutory rape charge. Leave him alone and find someone your own age.
BTW - Learn to spell and use proper punctuation.

How much older are we talking about?. Age does play a very important part of parents approving and disapproving.
However if you say you like him as much as you say you do. Then take him through the front door. You'll only get two answers, yes or hell no.

My sister is 18 and her guy is 26 and it took her 2 years to tell my very over protective dad. But after my dad met him he thinks hes a good guy (my dad hates every guy we bring home). So I say let him meet your parents and go from there. If he's truely a good guy then they will see that.

OK, I finally figured out that boy = boyfriend and rents = parents. Now on to the question.
If you're a minor and he's too old for you, don't expect them to be happy.

Nobody could help you, because you have not given any information about your parents, but one think I can tell you. Generally every young man/woman believes that his/her parents are dumb and old-fashioned! but after you grow up, you will see that they are reasonable and mostly right. I'm not telling that everything they do is correct, I just mean that you should consider their point.

How much older? If he is old enough to graduate from high school and you still going to school, I would be on your parents' side.

Well if your parents are anything like mine they should respect your decision and let you be with this guy if you really like him.Besides it's not like they're the ones who like him.
now about bringing it up to them i recommend that you just go to them and tell them. I mean it's not like thery're going to kill you if you date an older guy right?
