A metallic taste can be caused by an iron defienciency. Please mention this to your doc. My friend had this and found out the cause was a stomach ulcer.

Alot of medicines can cause a metallic taste. Especially sulf drugs such as Biaxin and Keflex. Vitamin supplements with high doses of Iron could also cause the nasty taste.

From what I understand.. that is one of the symptoms of pregancy.... a metalic taste in your mouth !!!

I have taken medications that caused this. If you arent on anything your iron levels could be screwey let your doctor know they will test you.
