Ok - here it is: The Chocolate Love Cake
Betty Crocker chocolate cake mix
1/2 bag chocolate chips
1 package instant chocolate pudding
1/2 container sour cream
dark chocolate frosting
Mix all together and follow directions on the box. This is seriously the best choclate cake ever - stays moist and delicious for up to a week! We actually froze some and defrosted it 6 months later - still like the day it was made.

Any box cake will provide a moist cake if you don't over bake it. Pillsbury is good but my fave is Betty crocker. You only have to grease the bottom of the pan. Don't skimp on the oil the recipe calls for because cocoa is a drying agent. Also as soon as the cake comes out of the oven leave it in the pan and wrap it with saran wrap, all the condensation will reabsorb and you will have an insanely moist cake. Try to bake the day before you decorate it and it can be stored in the fridge as soon as it cools and don't remove the saran wrap til right before you decorate it.

I think if you wrap the cake in saran wrap while it is hot the wrap will melt and stick to the pan and you are going to have a nice mess. Try cooling the cake first. Also if you Ice it as soon as it cools it should stay nice and moist.
I use the Pillsbury Pudding Cakes and they are really moist.

Use any cake mix you like. Add one cup of cottage cheese to the batter when you add your wet ingredients. Cook as directed. You will find that you won't be able to SEE the cottage cheese, let alone taste it, but your cake will be really moist.

once you're taking the cake out of the oven cover the finished genuine of the baking dish with aluminum foil, cover properly and make sure which you do no longer burn your self. The moisture from the warm cake gets trapped interior inflicting the cake to alter into moist. all human beings raves over my brownies being moist, and that's all that I do. basically depart it lined till cooled sufficient to characteristic icing.

Instead of using vegetable oil like the cake mix box calls for, use apple sauce.
