Any body else besides me hate homework?

Yes we all hate but its the only way to reinforce skills we've already learned....I mean if we were just going to school sitting down skimming through a book and closing it when we are finished how in the world are parents or teachers supposed to know if we learned anything, we have to be pushed in order for our brains to work stronger....but yeah homework does stink especially when your favorite tv show is about to come on in hour after you get home from school....uggghhh..

I dont have homework but my 10 year old son does. And I hate having to make sure he does it every day. Does that count

As a teacher, I HATE it!!! It puts extra hours on me away from my family to grade the crap and it is a pain in the butt to get the kids to do it!!! I only assign homework because I would be fired if I didn't!!!

Me, of course. Who wants to do busy work all day. By the time I'm done with 8 hours at school, it's time for me to come home and spend 4-5 more hours on work. I know school's important, but why all the busy work?

Heck yeah, who wouldn't. And even more when it's long and boring. By the way I had one as that this morning, I had to do a 45 question questionnaire, and I had to read a whole chapter of a boring book to answer that damn thing, it was awful. But I'm glad I got done with it haha :D

I can often learn things the first time I see them, so homework isn't necessary for me. I usually get fed up with it, don't do it, and get horrible grades. If we didn't have homework, I'd do fine.

yah...i hate homework too, but when u look back in life...homework was the only thing that forced u to learn basic stuff.
