Yes I do too. The main problem is that people read biblical text and decipher it the way they want to. That is why most people think that their religion is th only "right" one. God did not say " let there be biblical text" and there was biblical text, it was written by man. They made it say what they wanted it to say. Don't get me wrong, I have a bible and I have read it, but I do not believe it all. I also believe in evolution. The whole Adam and Eve thing never sat well with me. It didn't make sense. But I do believe in a higher power. I am also not affiliated with any one religion. I do not go to church but want to start soon.

All religion is tied. You will find many teachings are the same within all religions... as well as ideas of the nature of God(s). Even the idea of a Savior is common (more common than most mainstream religions would like to admit).
I don't believe science and religion are tied in that sense. Science deals with the world around, things we can see and feel, while religion deals with things that are beyond that. Mostly faith-based ideas that many claim as absolute truths without any substantial evidence other than personal evidence.

No they are not tied together, but the antichrist would sure like you to believe that. The only religion that trully stands out and is distinguished by the others is Christianity. Why ? Because Jesus is the one who stated : I am the way, the truth, and life, NONE come to the Father (God) BUT TROUGH ME. He simply removed any other way of getting in touch with God. No, buddha is not the way, nor is any other false messiah out there. If the BIble is accurate, than Jesus is indeed the ONLY way. Study to show yourself aprooved unto God, check the Bible out and analyze it to see if it stands up to what it has to say.

One could very easily argue that there is one God who is completely unknowable by human minds. He is infinite and undescribable. One could then see that all religions are the result of different cultures trying to explain what they see around them. Some cultures see one God, some see many Gods, but they are all aspects of the same singular being.
It's very easy to see as well that all religions view God as someone or someones who looks approximately like them. Americans view Jesus as a white man with long, flowing brown hair. In reality, he probably looked a lot more like Jerry Seinfeld. Other cultures view their God or Gods the same way.
All of this is simply our way of trying to know the unknowable, to explain the unexplainable, to understand the question which all men have asked since the beginning of time: Why?

The reason it seems that way is because Christianity, Judaism, and Islam all have the same basic roots. Christians come directly from Judaism believing that Jesus a Jew was their king and savior. The Jews that did believe this seperated from the Jews that did not believe this and called themselves Christians.
Then Muslims believe that Allah, which is the Arabic word for God, came to Mohammed and told him what people should believe and Allah to them is basically God to us. So those three at least come from the same basic roots so they would seem very connected.

There are many religions - that is true. If you take the origin of many religions - you will find they are steeped in practices that are not mentioned in the Bible. In fact, most religions have some background based on pagan teachings that go back as far as the Babylonians.
It would appear, however, on the basis of the history of mythology and religion, that before this dispersal of mankind by God, Satan had instilled into the minds of his worshipers certain fundamentals of false religion.
These included the religious concepts of survival of a soul after death, fear of the dead, and existence of an infernal underworld, together with the worship of innumerable gods and goddesses, some of whom were grouped into triads. Such beliefs were carried to the ends of the earth by the various linguistic groups. With the passage of time, these basic ideas underwent variations. But by and large, they form the fabric of false religion in all parts of the world. Although thwarted in his attempt to create one united false religion with its world capital in Babylon, Satan settled for diverse forms of false worship, which were of Babylonian inspiration and designed to divert worship from Jehovah to himself. Babylon continued for centuries to be an influential center of idolatry, magic, sorcery, and astrology—all essential components of false religion. Not surprisingly, the book of Revelation symbolizes the world empire of false religion as a filthy harlot named Babylon the Great.—Revelation 17:1-5.
Still, the Bible does speak of one true Faith...according to the words of Jesus... this Faith is known by the love among his followers, they do not follow paganistic practices such as Hellfire, Christmas. They knew that Christ’s presence must be invisible. They understood that 1914 would mark the end of “the times of the Gentiles.” (Luke 21:24, King James Version)
And they clearly understood the meaning of the soul and the resurrection. They were also enlightened as to the gross error of the churches’ teachings on hellfire and the Trinity.
They learned and began to use the divine name (of God, Jehovah) and perceived the wrongness of the evolution theory and the practice of spiritism.

Yes they are all tied together in that they are void of Jesus Christ. He is not a religion nor contained in a religion, He is the way the truth and the life, no one comes to God except through Him.

Definitely. There is only one God and the knowledge comes from Him. (Just look at the creation for example: same at the red Indians and same for Christians, same for Hindus and so on...
Jesus was teaching non-violence just like Buddha. etc...) This knowledge and guidance for mankind was explained by his messengers (can call him prophets if u please) at different times - and different levels - according to time place and circumstances (eg. people's state of development). The higher our spiritual development the deeper knowledge we getting. Some "primitive" tribes in Africa worshiping God and believe pretty much the same but they know little about self-realization or higher level of god-consciousness.
