How many other people believe that self esteem and being confident is has nothing to do with how pretty you are...not trying to sound like an arrogant bi*tch..but im really attractive and i find it way more difficult to have self esteem and be confident because i always feel like people are judging me based on just my looks and not my personality or anything else..thats what ive gotten in the past..any thoughts guys ?? and how should i overcome that fact that i will always have people staring me down..i feel so self conscious when people do that...and instead of it making me feel good it makes me feel bad..ugggh...i dunno if anyone else out there has felt like this b4..

The best - looking woman's face I ever saw, came to my computer from Belgium, on a jpg.

Although this poor young lady used to be a professional domin*atrix, she now turned about-face. If she is out in public, someone usually begs to take her picture. (She has no camera of her own) . She does not date or live with anyone. She laments that no one takes her seriously for her feelings, her philosophy, or her mind.

She has a better face even than Sissel, the Norwegian singer. And her breasts are small, but with her face, it doesn't seem to matter to anyone.

So, that enlightened me, a guy, that beautiful women do not have a problem--free life. All I can suggest, is that you cultivate some other interests, and impress people with your achievements, brains, or conversational ability.

Or, if you must, "dress down" casually,--loose clothing, or even guy's clothing (blue jeans and a flannel shirt); no makeup, no heels, and generally abandon all beauty products, since you don't seem to need them.

If your personality is consistent for this, try acting the "Tomboy". Develop interests in things like outdoor sports, fishing, or horseback riding. This will help to cover over your feminine pulchritude. [yes, that's a real word]. :-)

Lots of people would love to have your problem. Personally, I'd trade 30 IQ points, to be better-looking. Not that I'm bad, but looks seem to be all that anyone in modern America cares about these days.

Turn your looks into an advantage, maybe, by shooting for a degree in TV news reporting. They don't hire any plain-looking people.

Also, keep in mind that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." There might be some men who don't stare at you, but you don't notice them because you are noticing the guys who DO stare at you. Try looking around for some guy who is not doing that. Maybe even go up to him and start a conversation! Make his Day!

If you had self esteem you would leave your abusive boyfriend. I think you are confused about a lot of things.

Beauty is only skin deep. People that go after looks only lose them in the end.

it does not matter what "every one " else thinks of you but what you think of yourself is what counts.. you can be big and beautiful or ugly and smart whatever the combination is you are special because that is how god made you and it is up to you to do the best with what he gave you..
