There are several ways of preventing Acne to get worse. The easiest way is to wash your face several times a day with water and a neutral soap, avoid greasy foods and excersise. This will keep you healthy and therefore your pores won't clog. Also, try if possbiel going to a steam room every now and then. Sweating in a steam room will unclog all your pores and then you'll sweat all the gunk out. You can also use one of many treatments available OTC like the Neutrogena or Clean & Clear acne treatments.

If everything fails and the acne does get worse then I strongly recommend that you go see a dermatologist that will prescribe you a medicine specific to your skin that will not only help you control the problem but also eliminate it. Results in either cases take about a week or two to be extremely noticable, so don't worry if you're not better in like three days, give it time.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

I am a medical student and it is a proven fact that what you eat does not affect whether or not you are going to have acne. Plus I eat chocolate and fried foods ALL THE TIME and I have the clearest skin of anyone I know. Make sure your hands are always clean because whether you know it or not, you are going to be touching your face alot and your hands have bacteria on them. Wash your face twice a day, any more than that, you will irritate your skin and make it worse. I use dial soap to wash my face. Proactive is another solution but I know alot of people who use it that it does not work for them. Consult a dermatologist if the problem persists...

Be sure to wash your face with a good cleanser twice a day. If you have really bad acne go see a dermatologist. If you are prone to acne there's nothing you can really do to prevent it other than keeping your face clean.

For minor acne, just keep it cleaned with soap and water. If you have bad acne, you need to see your doctor and maybe a dermatologist. They can determine the underlying cause of the acne and prescribe a course of action to control it. Acne is often caused by bacteria and if so antibiotics can help. My little sister had acne for several years but was able to keep it under control with the help of her dermatologist. If you do not take action to control a bad case, it can cause permanent scarring.

1 suggestion is using Proactive. My friend does and her face is clearing up. Try to wash it with warm water 2 times a day then putting some lotion on it. and dont put your fingers and hands all over your face.
