What.. when you register the car???

In Alabama when you register your car you sign something that states you have insurance (its the registration it says it in fine print) but, the clerk does not ask to see proof (they take ur word). Ne who when the application gets to Montgomery (main location for everything in AL) they usually reject the title if no insurance. Im really not sure about other states but, why wouldn't you want to have insurance.. if you were in an accident ur just screwed.

Yes, I realize that it is dictatorial and only the insurance companies plus their lobbyists profit. Wisconsin does not though. At least so far they have not been led astray by politicians.
