Chicken pox sores start by looking like blisters. You can check the following site for a photo. But in any case please go see your doctor as he/she is the best person to give you an accurate diagnosis.

have you had the inoculation for chickenpox. Usually the spots look like a bad zit to start with. May start on the neck and back of neck and spread to the body, arms and legs. They are on both side of the body. If you get them really bad they will be in your eyes, inside your nose, your mouth and throat and private parts too. I had them when I was 23 along with my two children we were covered everywhere with spots. We got them from my young sister in law who had only about 10 spots on her. That was back 40 years ago. Now they do have an inoculation. for chicken pox. There are complications to it. I used calamine lotion on the spots and peroxided each spot so it would not infect. Wait a day or so and you will know if it is chicken pox.

type in search "chicken pox" then go to images and you see some serious pictures.

I hope it’s not that because when I caught chickenpox at age 16 from my sister Daphne who was 7 & in 2nd, I went to school EVERYDAY!!! I was a sophomore, so all I had to do was put on lots & lots of foundation make-up! I wasn't ABOUT to let a few blisters stop me from exempting my finals (for good grades & attendance) & make me take the TAAS test a year later with those who failed it! My score was 2200 where you needed 1770 to exempt the college SAT, so I've never had to take anything but math placement tests for colllege! But it was a VERY miserable week! I was itchy & feverish, yet I couldn’t say anything about it cuz then I’d have been sent home & forbade to come back for a week or so. But since chickenpox usually occur in the spring, it probably isn’t that. Although, like Cyrus just said, we've already had colds this year (06-07) and it's ANYTHING BUT COLD outside! Colds are associated with winter (cold like snowflakes and snowmen) while chickenpox are associated with spring (you know, spring chickens or yellow chicks). I mean, I know that sounds like a joke, but there is some truth in it.

Lucky me, I never missed a day for that cuz I got chickenpox over Spring Break in 4th grade from my 6-year-old brother Darius in kindergarten. I highly doubt it’s chickenpox cuz they usually occur in the spring and come with chills, high fever, and blisters that scab over and stay there for 2-3 weeks, not to mention a few scars maybe. But then again, colds usually come in winter (hence the name), yet me and Iris just got over 1 the other week.

Generally they start out looking like pimples. They then get bigger and look like puss filled blisters. They will itch a lot. You may feel incredibly tired.
You can call your doctor but basically you just have to let it run its course. You are contagious until the last blister scabs over.
Take a bath in baking soda or use Calamine lotion to help ease the itch.

that is chickenpox. don't scratch them because if you do you will have marks from them. not everyone gets a fever with chickenpox. they have stuff in the drugstore that can help stop the itching. my kids never had a fever.

Chickenpox spots often look like little blisters. If you don't have any of those, and it doesn't keep spreading to other parts of your body, it's probably not chickenpox.

If it's chicken pox, it will be accompanied by fever and other symptoms.

You can't prevent further spots, but you can prevent scarring by not scratching them.
