if you are worried about your period and your wedding day, go on the pill so you can skip it for the big day, and honeymoon!!
you dont have to have sex on your wedding night, but i think it would be pretty friggin good feeling to make love with your husband on the night of the most romantic day of your life........

Of course you don't have to have sex if you don't want to. Sex should always be when you want to do it, not because you feel you should, wedding night or no wedding night.
I'm getting married next year, and I'm going to suggest that we sneak off for a quicky during the reception before we get too drunk or too tired!!

no, no one has to do anything, consummation of a wedding is more an oldie religious tradition, linked with proving the bride was a virgin. If a marriage has never been consummated this was once a factor when applying for divorce.. please don't let this spoilt your wedding night, am sure any man - husband with any respect for his new wife will understand and wait for the right moment.
after along day, and getting away on honeymoon chances are you will both be too shattered any ways.. have a lovly day and honeymoon.

YOu don't have to sex on your wedding night, in fact most brides and grooms are exhausted by the time they get done with all of the festivities. You should do whats best for both of you. Once you get that far in a relationship I would think that you would be comfortable enough to have sex while you were on your period; especially if you both really wanted it.

why are you being FORCED into getting married? You dont have to have sex with anyone you dont want to married to them or not - however if the marriage isnt consumated (if you dont have sex at some point after getting married-theres no time limit-you are NOT legally married until you have had sex after you are married then if this is the case an annulment can be sought, which is instead of a divorce) Sex on your period - hmm, not a good idea. However if it is the very fiorst time you have ever had sex then you will bleed, but its no big deal, bleeding for a couple of days, a day rest then probably a week period, even if your not due on - possibly. If you dont want to have sex with your intended - why the hell are you marrying him? Isnt a forced arranged marriage -arranged prostitution? If your being forced into a marriage I suggest you go to a womens refuge asap- happy fleeing

You dont "have"to do anything.I know a lot of people who were soooo tired[or too drunk] from the whole wedding thing that they passed out and slept on their wedding night...You're gonna be with that person for the REST of your life...I dont think you're going to miss not having sex that one night...have it the second night..no harm done!

I didn't have sex on the night of my second wedding, my husband had a very low sex drive and it was only about a week later that he bothered to look at me.

I was far too drunk to have sex on my wedding night!! Well, it was the biggest and best party of my life - you really can't blame a girl for wanting to enjoy it ha ha.
We made up for it on honeymoon though ;-)
