can some of you girls tell me what you look for in a GODLY young man to marry i am a Christian too i go to a Christian school i have to write a list of good Godly characteristices to find in a husband i have some but i i think i need a little need a little help!!!!!!!!!big thanx (btw: i have to have them by tuesday night.aug.27th)

I want him to be kind, thoughtful, warm, to love God and to be real Christian and to have heart of love and not be a bad person. im too young date even but i want get marry someday and i want good boy to marry me!!

hmmmmmm... so you need a list of "Godly" characteristics that you are to look for in a potential husband?
Charity - he gives to others (time, money, talent, whatever)
Love
Honestly
Respect
Reverence - this goes with respect. Not only should he revere God, but he should give nature and every person he meets the kindness and respect they are due.
Faith - and I don't just mean in God. When he says he believes in something, he really stands up for it and sticks with it.
Humility - he acknowledges his strengths and gifts and is proud of what he does with them, but he doesn't shout it from the mountain tops or make sure people know how "great" he is.
Hope that helps. There's a section in the Bible about "the good wife" ... proverbs maybe? Well, those same qualities are good for a husband too!

I don't know if they're specifically Godly characteristics, but here are some things I think are important:
> trust
> honesty
> respect not only for the girl, but choices she has made
> is a true Christian, not someone who just says they are but doesn't act like it
> will support and care for his wife... basically just truly following marriage vows
Those are some that I can think of... lol it probably shouldn't go on your list, but I would like to have a guy with a good sense of humor! Good luck with your assignment, I hope I helped some. Well I hope you don't mind getting advice from a catholic, cuz that's what I am!!! A man with godly characteristics is kind, caring, compassionate, devoted, selfless, appreciative, forgiving, noble, trustworthy, loving, attentive, respectful, powerful yet tender, and somebody you love enough to be the same for. Kind, loving, has a testimony of work, able to listen, honors his priesthood (or honors the name of Christ that he took upon himself in becoming Christian), respects and honors women, has a testimony of the gospel, understands the importance of fatherhood...
Yeah, lets just say, growing up, I made lots of lists like this, I think I married someone who came pretty dang close to being everything I wrote down.
