I dropped out of high school after 11th grade and I am so happy about it and very proud of myself, what are your thoughts?

As a teacher I really should be encouraging you to go back to school and better yourself through a good education.

However, as an ex high school student, I remember the kids at school who didn't want to be there, and they made the experience worse for those who did.

As long as you have set goals for your life and are doing things that you want to do, go for it!! Just make sure you don't regret anything later in life..

All the best :)

Everyone has to make their own choices. And school is not the best route for every person. Statistically, you would be (or would have been?) better off FINANCIALLY at least earning a GED and going on to college for whatever interests you, but that's obviously your decision. And some folks learn a trade and can support themselves quite well without a diploma or degree of any kind. It all comes down to what makes you happy and fulfilled.

Unfortunately, a lot of young men and women drop out for what are, in my humble opinion, the wrong reasons--- school is too hard or too boring. It's not supposed to be easy and no one ever promised that it would be interesting (except my classroom, of course! ;-D). But neither is the work-a-day world.

I'm not sure why you are "proud". Were you afraid to drop out, but did it anyway? Or are you saying that you dropped out many years ago and you are proud of what you have made of yourself? Either way, as long as you are happy, BRAVO! Not many people can say that these days.

Cheers,
J

In the future you will look back with regret. Your job oppertunities and income level will be grim. You will have a hard time grasping complex concepts, and you will remain in the same status for life. Be proud of that.

The interviewer needs to understand why you imagine you're the great candidate. in the journey that they see you conflict with a reaction then that tells them that you at the on the spot are not too particular of your self. Why do you imagine you'd be the great instructor for the region? What are your strengths? What skills do you posses that different candidate may not?

I hope you don't like making money. The average annual salary is like $16,000 for HS dropouts.
