I think it depends on the household, if the woman is working and the man is not he should handle the home responsibilities, and vice verse. HOWEVER if they are both working, then they must equally divide the responsibilities.
But one thing to ALWAYS remember is your a team, a partnership. And two heads are always better than one.
To COMPLETELY label a responsibility for a man or a woman is not right only for the fact that who knows what the future brings, what if GOD FORBID the man of the home who has always worked & made the money while the wife has stood home being a homemaker falls ill and cant work, then what? The woman should be able to step up and help out, and what if the woman who has always been the homemaker falls ill, then the man should be able to step up and handle it. So it is kind of like a job in real life....cross train & share the resposibilties.

In a relationship men I think have the biggest role Men are in charged of making you happy and keeping you happy the need to make sure all your needs are taken care of all your bills are paid and so on its hard for a man

in my opinion, to be a best friend that you can count on. women can protect themselves and can defend themselves, but they can't do anything when they're in trouble or upset and there's no one to talk to. i think that the man's role is just to be there and be loving and understanding. like a best friend but with benefits =).
