I have a little leather sponge type thing I bought at walmart for like 3 or 4 dollars that works the best. first clean the inside of the window with anything (rubbing alcohol is best) and if theres any dust or streaks from the cloth just use that little sponge thing and it will get rid of it! But put some elbow grease into it, windex isnt smearing its the cloth you are using or the way you are doing it. Good luck...

Use a mixture of white vinegar and water. You'll have to let the car air-out for a bit for the vinegar smell to leave, but it will work..

Use plain old rubbing alcohol on some of those textured paper towels. It may take several tries, but keep at it.
