Which would you choose if you were going for a new road bike? Why would you take one over the other. Anything else out there you would recommend? Other than Litespeed that is have ridden those and being a bigger guy 6'1 190 I feel WAY to much flex in those bikes.

Not looking for racing I'm done with racing but want long tours and good club rides. I've got my preferences but want to hear others thoughts and see if there is something else out there I might be missing.

Having worked in the business for 15 years I could go on and on, but listen to your instincts and don't allow yourself to be seduced by anything else.. There is no perfect frame, they all have something their own. My personal favorites - which will work fine for your size are the Ritchey Logic road frame, and pretty much any good steel frame or carbon frame. There is 100 years of development in these frames - steel. The thing to stay away from are the super light frames in any material. They are temporary in nature and were designed to be raced for a day. If they break they break. Middle of the road is where it's at.

Litespeed Ultimate in your size will not flex like their lesser bikes. It is a blue-blooded race bike and I don't think Merlin or Seven has anything comparable in a bigger size.

If you want something different, how about a Moots or Serotta?

Go with Seven. Seven custom builds the frame to YOUR specs. http://www.sevencycles.com/building/customization.html
Tell them your height, weight etc... And also mention about the flex you tend to find in the other titanium road bikes. Dropping that kind of money for a nice ride they will go to great lengths to make you happy.

Simple Seven. It's custom built to your body and size and each bike is unique because you buy the features YOU WANT ! Merin does do that. Most roadies in Northeast Ohio choose "Seven" besides the local dealer is a friend of mine.

hey I'm a lugged steel kind of guy but I do appreciate ti, they are always sweet rides. my advice, you don't have to go full custom but do talk to your builder, they can spec tubes and geometry for your size and prefs.

any of the 3 you mention make great bikes.

Titus... I don't know about titus roadies (I'm a mtb), but I would consider them if I would be searching for a road bike.
