help me people .....tomorrow I am goin to debate agains people ..but i need to know wat do doctors do ..other than help people and heal them ...

Did you ever wonder how drug companies know a drug is considered safe? They actually do studies using human subjects. There are 2 kinds of studies called blind and double blind. In the first one, the doctor prescribes a drug but the patient doesn't know if the drug they are given is real or a placebo (fake drug), but the doctor knows which is which. In the double blind, the doctor doesn't know the real drug from the fake. The doctor is paid a large sum of money by the pharmaceautical company to chart each patient's reaction to the drug. By studying the reactions, pharmaceautical companies judge the effectiveness of the drug. But always remember, the patient NEVER knows what is going on and the physician is ALWAYS paid to participate in those studies.

Doctors have always decided who lives and dies. They do this by deciding who is treated, how they are treated, and when to stop treatment.
Example 1: People without heatlh insurance in America can and are turned away from health care institutions. What may have been a curable disease with health care becomes a death sentence without it. Many cancers caught early enough are curable, but if no health care institution will see you due to your inability to pay, you will die.
Example 2: It is never talked about, but many, many times across America the terminally ill or the elderly are given overdoses of painkillers, usually morphine, so that they slip quietly into death. Patients on Medicare or Medicaid are prime candidates for this as the government sets ceilings on what health care institutions, doctors, can charge. Treating Medicare or Medcaid patients isn't profitable.
Example 3: Doctors decide when to stop treatment. They usually don't share this with the patient or family. They also withold knowledge of possible treatments if they deem the patient not worth saving or the patient unable to pay.

Doctors are directly responsible for America not having socialized medicine so that medical care is available to all regardless of their ability to pay. Most doctors incomes are far more than even what the president of America is paid. They aren't about to allow the government to enact laws to set a ceiling on what they can collect in fees. Witness the fact that many foreign born doctors are now practicing here. Why? Part of the reason, perhaps the main reason, is that they are allowed to collect whatever fees they can here which is not true in other countries.

Doctors also are directly responsible for many diseases and conditions that could be cured or relieved but they aren't because even though doctors know they cause they don't say anything because it would be the end of their medical careers.

A lot. They specialize in whatever field they feel like. They study for years and take an internship to get their job in the first place. They are also supposed to keep studying throughout their lives to know the latest news on their field and what is going on in medicine. They also take the Hippocratic oath. Which also relates with the declaration of Geneva which is a world organization to regulate medicine and influence medicine. A pasting of their current declaration reads...

doctor make ppoor marriage partners , work long hours go to school for at least 9 years then if they wish to specialize they must go to school even longer. They do research have a mountain of homework to go over everyday many work irregular hours if patients get sick or have babies in the middle of the night and many are underpaid for what they do that is why make lousy marriage material too many oportunitiues to cheat on wives husbands etc. and many quit cusz they get fed up with the politics
