If it's the latest revelation we should be following should'nt that be the Book of the Mormon or does'nt it work that way?

There have been many many other prophetic books other than the book of Mormon. Only the New Testament (thus the name) seeks to toally negate that which came before it. The Koran is simply an addition to the religious canon for another group of people.
I suggest reading Karen Armstrong's "A History of God"

The 'Torah' is the first few books of the Old Testament, which of course came before the New Testament (the most important book for Christians). This, among other books (Talmud), is important in Judaism. The Qur'an came several centuries later than the New Testament, and many (i.e., Muslims) regard it as the final, and most correct holy book, although much of Islamic law/society derives from the not divinely-inspired Hadith. The Book of Mormon came about in the early 19th century by a con-man named Joseph Smith. A quick search for 'Straight Dope Mormonism' on Google will help you understand this deeply questionable book.

The Torah is part of the Old Testament. The New Testament is the New Covenant of God with His people ...all who believe in Him and Jesus Christ as their savior...... and in the last chapter of Revelation it is clearly written, that no word should be added or subtracted.....
The Koran ....is Mohamed's book...... the Mormons have Joseph Smith. The Book of Mormon is being re-written each year .... the Koran does not see Jesus Christ as Saviour but just as a prophet....

Thing about that book is that the only way you can verify anything it says is by faith. There are no cities, no geology, no supporting history. The man that "wrote" it had a checkered past in treasure hunting. The errors in the original 1830 are glaring. The prose used in it's composition are those of a poorly educated author. I can only believe in the Book of Mormon as far as it was plagiarized out of the King James Bible....Jim

no next we will have the last testament. Bibles, korans ect.changes in every religon changes as education advances and it become reality that the old cannot be true.
the mormons traded a large basic par tof their religion to cecome a memeber of the union(statehood). This signifies they did not accept all of their beliefs as they declared that having more than one wife was illegal, immoral and shoud be changed to acheive statehood.
Religion in al churches are known to go with the flow(times to stay afoat such as form th eold testamen tto the new.
The koran is in such a s mes that half of the muslims shites do not recognize th eother half the sunnys.

All religions have some similarities in them, similar themes, tests, trials and end-of-days warnings. For the Biblical folk there is the end days depicted in Revelation, for the Nordic peoples there is Ragnarok, for others apocalypse and so on.
Follow what your heart knows is right for you.
These books and scriptures were penned by man so very long ago that no one truly knows who wrote what first.
This is where FAITH comes in, regardless of your religion.

It's amazing. He writes all these books yet no-one can be bothered to read the maker's instructions. No wonder we make such a mess of the world.

If you include the Koran, then your next stop should either be the Granth or the writings of Baha'ullah.
