Dell comp. WindowXP, how do you scan, edit, and send photos via Yahoo.com?

Dell computer, Windows XP, with a dell printer. New at this, need step by step on how to scan, edit, and send photos via Yahoo.com to others. Thank You.

For photo editing I use the program from google, Picasa, very good for a free program.You can get it from here:

Apart from Your computer and Internet connection you need following things to be able to Scan, Edit Photos:

- A Scanner or a Multi-Function device (around $200 nice one)
- A software that allows you to edit Pictures. LIke Adobe PhotoShop, Microsoft Picture Editor, or as simple as MS-Paint

If you don't have above two things its not possible to do what you want to do. If you do (or bought it) then do the following:

1) Scan the image using the scanner and save them as jpeg on your computer.
2) If it needs editing, then launch the photo editor software and load the image and adjust the contrast, flash, color, red-eye etc and save it.
3) Go to Yahoo and attach the image as an attachment and send it to anyone you want.

If you have a digital Camera then you can download the images using USB into the computer directly and Edit them using the picture editor software you can also download free editions of some basic picture editors from http://www.download.com

Once edited. save the picture on your computer and log on to the Yahoo and attach that picture as an attachment using the "Clip" icon and send the mail with the image to whoever you want

It hasn't happened in my school except once and it was with this girl in my year. She took a picture of herself in the mirror wearing just underwear and sent the pics to her boyfriend and some of her 'friends'. A girl who she sent it to thought it was disgusting and so she put it onto her computer and then printed out like 100 copies. Then she posted them up around our school and chucked them on the floor everywhere. The teachers found out within like 40 minutes and found all the pictures but loads of people saw them when they were switching lessons. Loads of people found it sick and cruel on the girl in the picture but many found it funny because nothing ever happens like that in my school. I thought it was sick. Anyway so yeah i suppose its not just in America that people are doing this, but i haven't heard from any of my friends at other schools that this is happening and especially not as frequant as 2-3 in a week. I hope everything clears up and i hope you go and complain to your sons principal.
