You owe it to him to tell him that you do not know how you are feeling right now.
Don't let him get this false idea that you feel the same way if you don't or of you are confused. Think long and hard about it, and let him know you are doing the same. How long have you been together? How old are you guys?
If you've been together a week and you guys are 16 years old, then chances are he does not love you. But if the circumstances are different, perhaps he is telling the truth. Make sure he knows you don't want to be pressured into anything and that he knows that you are still unsure about your feelings.

You can test him by not giving into the love making for a month or two. That's what I did and three years later we got two beautiful kids and our own two bedroom apt. and suv. I wasn't sure like you at first. Take it one day at a time. Say it when you feel comfortable saying it to him. Don't rush things. When you guys are eating and as he picks up his last piece of food ask him if you can have a bite. If he gives you his last bite of food he truely loves you. That's how I knew we were going to get married.

That is just a tactic to get you to have sex with him. Don't fall for it. He probably doesn't love you. Men say anything to get sex.
