Do it whenever you need to travel.
The less you think about your weight problem the better.

Loosing weight is basically the old formula: eat less, exercise more.

1. Eat less--the more calorie intake, the more likely you will have excess which will be stored as fat. Eat more fruits and veggies as well as whole grains and a bit of proteins. Cut down on refined (i.e. white bread) carbs. It takes an excess of 3500 calories to gain one pound.

2. Exercise more--Do weight training as well as cardio. Weight training helps build muscle which will burn more calories while you rest or exercise. Cardio will work off calories. You need to lose 3500 calories to lose a pound.

The longer you ride your bike, the more calories you burn; however, don't only limit yourself to the bike--go jog, swim, play ball. Mix it up because your body will get used to a workout and you end up not burning as many calories as you would in the beginning.

you should walk and then eventually run. that's the exercise that will work just about every muscle on your body. but beware, cuz everything will hurt you if you overdo it. as for bike riding, i'd say about an hour would be enough. just get out there and move and you will feel ten times happier. get weights and lift weights.

like brook said some effort for 30 minutes. This is for in type of walking, riding and such exerciseing

ride you bike for 30 minutes several times a day with some effort, that is, you should feel somewhat exhausted - good luck!

30-60 minutes. You can't make your self gro, but swimming makes your spin decompress and makes you a inch or two taller after a while, but it won't stay for long.
