Most people do lose weight after surgery because the hospital foods are so bad you can't eat them!! At home, you rest in bed so no one cooks for you!!

post appendectomy patients lose a little weight after the surgery maybe due to the food that is being served in the hospital from liquid diet --- soft----full diet...there was imbalance in the diet...but dont worry you can regain that lose weight...just eat the right amount at the right time...t.c.
