how to convert video from rm(real player) files to the file type i can use to watch on TV.?

I have downloaded some videos to my computer which are in real player. But i want to put them on cd to watch in TV. Can u tell me the file type i need to convert to and how to do that?? thanks in advance...

I believe Divx will convert from any format. I know it handles avi and mpeg, not sure about Real media files, but I think so...

Your best bet is to do a search for a converter. When I last looked there were no reliable free convertors from any of the real formats (ra or rm). There is a problem with it being proprietary format.

There are a some paid programs that will cost you from $30 to $100.
