Generally the same spices for any pickling mixture.

I just save the pickling juices (from any product pickled) add
a few cloves of garlic, then add the boiled eggs.

keeps in fridge a long time, and it's very good.

MMMmmm. I love pickled eggs. I usually forget about them until Easter time. Thanks for the reminder. I think I'll make some! Spices I usually use are whole cloves, cinnamon stick and mustard seed.

2 cloves of garlic, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, a pinch of salt... brown sugar to taste.
I usually boil some beets and pickle all together....
If you have some baby onions add them too!
A great combination!

Caraway- spicy taste
cilantro- spicy
Dill(seed or leaves)
Tarragon-hot taste
Vlasic mild pepper
These are just a few variations of spices to use.
