Hi Jewish friends. I would like to get the lyrics of Hava Naguila (in Roman characters, not Hebrew characters - sSpelling of Hava Naguila may be wrong to start with :-). Could you please help me?

What is the meaning of it? I understand it's sung in celebrations. I tried looking for it over the Internet but there are too many lyrics, it's confusing.

I don't know the words to Hava Nagila, but do know that it is a harvest song, originally sung when there is a good harvest.

However, in the 1960s, Allen Sherman wrote a parody of Hava Nagila called "Harvey and Sheila," which I play on guitar for big laughs. (Particularly from my Jewish friends.) Allen Sherman is best known for writing the song "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah," which was a novelty hit in the 1960s.
