Why? No one held a gun to their heads to make them smoke! I'm sorry, I've smoked for 29 years and I've never blamed the tobacco company. It's my addiction, not theirs. It's like gamblers suing the casinos (happens in New Mexico alot) for losing their houses, cars, etc. No one forced them to sit their for hours pouring their life savings down the drain. When are people going to accept responsibility for their own actions???

No, unless the tobacco industry forced them to smoke. If we take the lack of responsibility further, perhaps they should sue whoever it was that convinced them to begin smoking?

Only FOOLS smoke now a days. Every one knows tobacco causes cancer. Its writen on EVRY cigga pack.
People need to take responsibility for their own actions instead of blaming others. PS: I am no defendent of cigga company. But i strongly bel;ieve, there has to be personal responsibility

I honestly don't think they should be allowed to sue. There was a warning on every pack.
