am i considered disabled,cause i wear a hearing aid?

Disability would be determined based on the degree of your hearing loss. Compensation for your disability would be determined by the Department for Disabilities. There is a percentage of disability that your audiologist would determine based on your hearing test results. This percentage would then be submitted to the Dept of Disabilities and they would contact you regarding your amount of compensation.

If you consider yourself disabled due to the fact that you have a hearing aid then you probably are. I have many people that have hearing loss and don't consider themselves disabled in any way.

You are considered "Hearing Impaired" not "Disabled". I have been wearing hearing aids for the past 15 years. If I had three wishes, the first would be for perfect hearing. I hate them,,,,,,even though they help me hear better.
