If she is eating normally then fussing at her will do more damage than good. Don't worry about her weight she will level out when she is older. Just as fussing at a child that is too heavy the same damage can be done to a child that isn't

What we get out of our bodies is 99 percent what we put into our bodies. Do you ever drink sodas? Stop immediately and never go back. If you think about the amount of soda consumed on average by persons your age, you can imagine how this alone can have a tremendous impact on body metabolism. Check the ingredients of the foods you eat and be mindful of things like how much fat or empty calories certain things contain. Calories can come from fat, carbs, or protein. Consider vitamin intake as well. It sounds like you are realizing that you are the type of person who cares about the health of your body, so while you are being mindful of "cutting back" and doing excercise (good for you!) also realize that there is so much information out there about nutrition and wellness. In the end you will be exactly where you have chosen to be, so now is the perfect time to learn about how diet affects not only shape of your body, and how you feel about it, but how your body feels and how you feel inside of your body!! If you don't already have a vegetarian diet then consider making this possibly dramatic change. Your story is inspiring and beautiful. Don't give up and don't settle! You are bound to succeed!

you should take her too the doctor and have them tell her she isn't a healthy weight!! maybe they will put her on a diet to help her become a healthier weight. that could effect her health. if she has always been petite then you probably can't do anythin about it cuz some ppl just won't gain weight when they are small structured. does she has an eating disorder? I wish you all the luck with that!

I am in my 20's and I am 4ft 11 and 89 lbs. I have had every test every doctor can think to give me. Everything has come back fine. I have a super fast metabolism and can out eat a man! Anyways, if your daughter eats healthy, there is nothing wrong with her weight. Just make sure she is eating properly and make sure she has had a physical. Some of us are made to be small.

I think that the safest way would be to take her to your family doctor and make sure she is healthy. If she is, then encourage her to eat nutritionally complete foods and get plenty of exercise.
Perhaps she's just slow to mature? It sounds like she is secure in her body image, though, and that's a good thing. I wouldn't freak out over it. Push her too hard and she may rebel and shut down. Keep the lines of communication open. Again, a doctor visit sounds like the best way to go.

Dont say anything to her.
Dont ever mention her weight....Its not like she is gonna die of starvation. When she is hungry, she'll eat.
If you do, it will become a tremendous issue...which will last FOREVER. Causing the weight thing to spin out of control...into real destructive behavior.
