How do you erase information on the clipboard in microsoft works word processor?

I can't copy and paste text from the internet, it keeps saying you have exceded the limit you can paste into works word processor even when its one word!

clipboard is shared by all applications. to access the clipboard, click Start / Run.. / clipbrd / OK

delete all the entries you see.

Otherwise you might have a RAM issue and i would suggest restarting your computer (unless this is a recurring issue then visit http://update.microsoft.com/ and patch up your pc.
