It's better to have been in a relationship so that you can learn from the first mistakes, but you don't necessarily have to be in a relationship to know right from wrong. and sometimes it's better to be by your self for a little while, but don't make it a habit because truly is not just going to knocking you have to go out there and find it

Being alone and waiting is a little better because a lot of times when you're in a relationship, you're not looking anymore for 'the one.' So if you're settling just to learn, you could be missing out on learning with someone really great.

How can you know who's the one if you never date?
I don't believe in flashes, thunder storming on the skies and pointing at the 'one'. You have to nurture a relationship, that will make love grow, or die. You need to learn and work it.
Now, you must like the person you think you're going out with, not just date him because he was the one who asked you out, or out of mercy, or because he won the lotto (well, maybe the lotto, ... just kidding).

Be alone and happy and wait for the right person to come along. If you are not happy in the relationship, why stay?

It's better to be learning. Each relationship brings you closer and closer to meeting "the one". How else would you learn about the types of things that you desire and detest in a partner?

Just because "the one" hasn't come by yet it doesn't mean you need to be alone. I dont believe in having a committed relationship with someone who is not a candidate for "the one" but I have lots of friends with benefits.

There is no "one", except for the ideal that is in your head. I'm not kidding. No one can ever be exactly what you think you want. I think learning is incredibly important, and might be the most important relationship aspect (in addition to love and laughter).

"The one" will not show up until you make a relationship! Just keep looking and meanwhile, learning is a plus!
