Sometimes I get pain on the whole front side of my face (either left or right, not both) and it feels like it is in my nose, ear, cheekbone and jaw (like wisdom tooth area). I had the wisdom tooth already removed there (no cavities) so I wonder if this is "ghost" pain from the tooth or a migraine? Or sinuses? Anyone have something similar?

It sounds more like a sinus, Migraines are usually on the head part of the skull. pain in the face area of the skull are usually due to sinuses. Getting a medical opinion though is the best thing.

I agree with some of the problems listed. Also other possibilities include abcess (possibly under a tooth or in the gum near the area - pain can actually appear in different areas to the real problem).

When I had my teeth out, I did notice some 'jaw movement' pain - my gums/bone/socket area 'grew' so instead of a gap, where the teeth were removed is now level with my back teeth, if that makes sense. It doesn't always hurt but in me it did.

Sinuses are another possibility, glandular problems another (I have a lymph inflamation at the moment that feels the same) - best see a doctor or a dentist or both!

Sounds like you need root treatment - one tooth can be very painfull and it affects the whole face sometimes the other side to where the pain actually is - you may have an abscess if it hurts to push down on the tooth or the area - you may need a filling - better yet you may need a dentist

It sounds like you could have Trigeminal Neuralgia which affects the cranial nerve and can cause very severe pain in the jaw side of face area. I have had alot of patients come in with this and were sent to see a Neurologist. Most patients were put on Tegretol which is commonly a anti-seizure medication but works well with patients with Trigeminal Neuralgia. Good Luck I would speak to a doc about this and the possibility that you may have this condition. It is treatable and alot of people have it and never take care of it.

You may be suffering from TMJ, which is arthritis of the jaw joint. It is common. See your dentist. It is not actually a dental problem but he or she can explain it to you.
