Sally, my basset hound, not only does regular obedience and agility exercises, she can also: sit up, roll over, spin left or right, tip over a bottle, speak, give a paw, wave, high five, heel backwards, ring a bell and "go round" an object.

try doing the obstacle courses and stuff like that. there is alot involved in learning all of that stuff. if you love taking the time most dogs love to learn. you can train a dog to do so many things. just watch pet stars and show like that. you will be amazed.

I have a Newfoundland who loves to play hide and seek. I tell him to sit, show him a treat, or a toy he likes, then tell him to stay, and hide it somewhere in the house. Then I say, "Go find it!" and he runs all over the place looking for it. He loves it.

You could hide treats.
Or one my dogs enjoy, I will let them out and then I will hide. Someone else will let them in and say "Where's mommy??" and they go crazy to find me. It's very cute.

Tug-ofwar is a puppy favorite... and I also play "tag" with my pit. he will come up (usually after jumping the fence) nose me on the butt, then dance away... until I poke him on the shoulder then he's back after me!
