you can
1)erase big files and files that you don't use(like movies and mp3)
2)uninstall programs that you didn't use for the last 3 months (and older)
3)reinstall OS

4)format it all!!! (the best way-believe me)
but don't forget to save all your precious stuff(like pics and mp3 that you like)

noone,
Did you Clean or dispose of the viruses. If so then maybe you should reformat, and reinstall your OS, this would rejuvenate it. Then use a Virus Program that monitors Real Time, and A Good Firewall Program that is stealth in nature and Strong for defenses. I use Avast AnitVirus, and Zone Alarm Pro Firewall and AntiSpyware Suite. And Wherever you are surfing you need to trim your surfing habits, or fire your antivirus and firewall.. To Contract that many Viruses, you are Asking for Trouble, BIG TIME. Good Luck

You can get ClamWin anti-virus for free. It has automatic updates daily and you can schedule scans of your filesystems.

http://www.clamwin.com/

Also, download a registry cleaner program to clean you computers registry. As you add and remove programs the registry gets more and more cluttered and this can cause problems with the speed of you system, espeically on boot up. Try searching the following site for one:

http://www.tucows.com/

Next, download the following spyware and adware programs. Spyware and adware can really slow down you system:

http://www.safer-networking.org/...
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareb...

Install each of these and run them on your comptuer.

First option is to remove all the viruses, restart your computer in "safe mode", press F8 when you first start your computer.
Select "safe mode", and then run all the anti virus program you have and also spyware programs also.
If that still does not remove all the problems, my suggestion is to backup your computer and then reformat it, start fresh!

Backup all you data. Most manufacturers provide a means to recover the system to the way it was when you bought it. Look through your documentation and cds or dvds that came with the computer and follow the directions to recover it.

What virus protection do you use? Use it to clear up the viruses.
Either Norton or McAfee are good choices.
