no worries about money...I have a very good job...I am pretty mature or else I would not have landed a job like this one at such a young age...I think you are right though...I might check out the bar scene first...maybe

Now that I think of it though...I will have to raise an actual baby a lil different...cause if my baby were to be like my dog...then it would be a nudist...my dog refuses to wear clothing or a collar...I tried to get her used to them when she was very little but it just never worked out....lol

OK 19 is to young...you still have alot of things you need to live thru ...here's an idea get a puppy its sorta like ababy see how you deal with that...everyone is ready at a different time...just make sure your done with school and financially set and you don't want to party or go out every weekend or anything.
OK what you do with the puppy is every time the puppy needs to go out you walk him not put him in the back yard then you play with him and you let him nap (just like baby's) give him a bath, feed him twice a day and in then get a create for him and put it in the other room (this is not cruel its creat training) the puppy is gunna whine all night just like a baby would cry.... Your teaching the puppy to sleep all night and to be house broken just like you would teach a child to be potty trained and to sleep all night...It works i promise you if you can deal with what the puppy then maybe your ready for a child...but know that a child is more to handle and takes longer for a child to be potty trained and to sleep thru the night.

28 is a good age. You will have had most of your 20s to get your life in order and have some life experience. You won't quite be 30 and you and your husband should have had time to enjoy some quality time alone before bringing children into the home because when children come...the focus of your life shifts to them. Take your time. I had my first child at 19. I love her but I know that I could have been a better parent by having completed my education and having more structure in my life if I had her later in my life. She's 14...almost 15 now. Take your time.

I dont feel there is a right or wrong age in todays society you have children acting like grown ups and adults acting like children for someone to put an age cap on it is stipud how can you tell someone what age to have a child when they say you are never really ready anyway so when you feel that you are ready to settle down with a young lady then you should do it you need to try anyway there are tooooooooo many things floating around here you are on the right track . PLEASE PICK THE RIGHT LADY BECAUSE IF YOU GUYS BREAK UP NO ONE WANTS TO DEAL WITH BABIES MAMA DRAMA

You have to have your **** together-steady job and income, good place to live and a partner mature enough for the responsibilities for a guy you'd probably be able to take it easier since less emotional crap is going on for you yeah its emotional but theres a big leap of difference i think for a mature responsible person 22 and ^ is ok if its what you really want and are seriously ready for too old would probably be 40

38+ seems too old to have kids.
I think you should be 25+ before you start having kids, just because you go through so many changes between 18-24 - at least I did.
25-35 is the best time, but it always comes down to when you're ready. I'm 28 and married and don't want children.

When you can take care of them, financially and mentally. Having a child is a big responsibility and someone shouldn't have one just for the sake of wanting one.
You need to be able to be responsible, put their needs always before yours and have the means to take care of your child. Children are not cheap nor are a accessory.
If I had to give an actual age - it would be preferably when you are married and anywhere between 25 - 30.

Beyond a certain point, it is not a matter of age.
When you can provide for your family- health insurance, a good location to raise kids, and the other million things.
Also, when you are satisifed to stay home when your buddies are saying 'lets go party' and not feel left out.
When you have kids, they are your #1 priority. They come before your own needs, your spouse/girlfriend, sports, whatever.

I started having children after i was married and had a solid career. that way, you and you partner can sit down talk about when you are ready to make the life change, then also if infact you have a career going you should have the medical insurance and a good solid incaome, thats when you know you are ready.
