Sounds like a very good diet. You will feel like you are starving, but only for a while. You'll definitley see the pounds coming off in no time. Just remember to get a good balance of protein, fruits and vegetables. Some whole grain carbs here and there won't hurt you; in fact, they will do you well. You may want to consider taking a fiber suppliment, as some people get constipated when they quit eating a lot of carbs. I give you mad props, girl.

You're definitely on the right track.
I might suggest you start with slightly more calories the first week, say 1500 and the next week move that down to 1400 and so on. It's really important to keep track of this.
To help you with the hunger pangs: If you don't feel satisfied, you'll constantly be thinking about food.
The boiled egg is good you can add a slice of whole wheat toast to your breakfast, even a small glass of o.j. Protein takes longer to digest so it stays with you longer.
You're eating about every three hours and that's good too. I might suggest an apple instead of the fruit salad only because there's a little more chewing going on and I believe it's more satisfying. Trade off with a large banana for your afternoon snack.
You're eating protein at lunch and dinner, that's great.
You can skip a tossed salad if you don't like the fat free dressing and perhaps have tuna or chicken salad on a small bed of lettuce.
Drinking lots of water in between helps you feel full.
The one thing I'm not seeing is an exercise plan.
I suggest that you start by walking after dinner each evening at a leisurely pace. Try to walk 1 mile each night until you can walk 1 1/2 to 2 miles. Exercise helps to decrease your appetite naturally. It also helps you mentally feel good with the release of endorphins.
Weigh yourself once per week. You'll be amazed!
You can do this! We're all rooting for you!
P.S. One more thing. Studies have shown that getting 8-9 hours of sleep per night destresses your body enough so that it will release excess fat more readily.

I tried the weight watcher-style approach. I eat about 6 times a day and I am rarely hungry. Here is an example of what I eat:
breakfast: 1/2 cup weight watchers cereal w/ 1/2 c. skim milk
1 hard boiled egg
morning snack: 1 serving fruit
lunch: a sandwich made with light bread, fat free mayo, 97% fat free lunchmeat, fat free cheese, tomato, onion and lettuce.
1 6 oz cup of fat-free yogurt
afternoon snack: 1 serving of fruit
dinner: lean gourmet dinner and 1/2 cup cooked greens (good for fiber!)
evening snack: 1/2 cup sugar free jello
One thing I am careful about is measuring the serving size. Also, eating on a regular schedule is good. Be sure to drink a lot of water as well. I am not an expert and I am sure I could make a lot of improvements, but so far I have lost 11 lbs in about 3 weeks. make sure you take a multi-vitamin as well.
Good luck!

The food you are eating is healthy. There is nothing wrong with it(although rabbits don't eat tuna or eggs, you however need them for protein). Try drinking more water, it will flush your system and make you feel less munchy. If you get the flavored, carbonated water(no calories, no caffeine, no sugar) it will go down a little easier and make adjusting to your diet smoother. The first couple of days are the hardest, trust me. After day three you feel better and the cravings ease, then you start to see and feel the benefits.

This isn't the way to lose weight! Your body is going to be shocked by this...it's very extreme. You should be eating 6 SMALL meals a day, it will help with your hunger and it will help you lose weight because it will speed up your metabolism. Don't be afraid to eat more, just eat smaller portions and more frequently. For example, for breakfast eat plain scrambed eggs. For snack in between breakfast and lunch eat a cup of fruit. For lunch eat lunch meat roll ups with a fat free spread in the middle for flavor, and a salad with some balsamic vinager and olive oil (it tastes MUCH better than that nasty fat free dressing, and it's heart-healthy). Then for snack between lunch and dinner you can make a protein shake (which your muscles need if you are working out to help you lose weight), then for dinner have as many vegetables as you want (I reccomend roasting them in a light drizzle of olive oil) with a protabella mushroom burger on a whole wheat bun.

The problem with so many diets, the reason why so many fail, is because they expect you to change EVERY facet of your eating patterns at once.
In truth, you're better off eating healthy, and making life-long changes, instead of trying to eat a ridiculously meager amount of food for a short time.
Start with one or two things that are easy for you to change. For example, make every meal begin with a salad (this will add to your vegetable content, and fill you up a bit before you get to the burger!). Or alternately, stop eating after 7:00 at night...Really, anything, as long as you're confident that you can do it. Once you've become comfortable with this change, and it's the new habit, think about one other thing you can change.
And, whatever you do, DON'T tell yourself that you're "never" going to have your favorite snack again...that will doom you to failure, for sure. Go ahead and enjoy the things that you really enjoy, because life is too short. Just be sure to incorporate the healthy things, and limit the "bad" stuff when you can.

Hello, Ok im a personal trainner and my advice to you is to see a health and wellness dr. this dr specialize in nutrition and the exact ways to get your body use to certain types of meal and give you medication to help suppress your wants and hunger. The medication is called phenterimine. Its the size of a tic tack and you take it once a day in the morning. it will curb your appetite all day i MEAN ALL DAY. it also gives you that bost to go be active and not so down because of the cut back in food. Your dr can perscribe different milligrams. the highest is 37.5mg. I use to take it and all of my clients have too. Once you get on it an lose the weight your body will adapt to your amount of food intake and you will be fine. the hardest part your trying to get over right now is the hill of not eating and your body knows your starving it so it keeps every thing you accually eat in. It will store it and take longer to loose. Keep your self active if you choose not to see the dr. Use smaller plates when eating like salad plates. Immediatly walk after a meal. do sit ups at night before bed or work out because your body still burns fat at night. sit ups inthe morning. streach all day to make your mucles have blood flow. get a yoga ball and thats all you need. Any more questions just contact me. GOOOOOOD LUCK SWEET PEA

a scientific study showed the best way to lose weight is a 3-day rotational eating habit... eat as much as you want for as many meals as you want the first day (anything, even high fat foods like cake), then for the next two days just have one modestly sized meal per day (preferably a meal rich in both carbs and protein). So once every 3 days you can eat whatever you want, and for the other 2 days you eat very little. People who do this are very thin and theyre not cutting any specific food out of their diet or denying themselves any necessary nutrients

Actually you need to add some bread and pasta to your diet. You need the carbohydrates. Just eat them in moderation. If you don't feel full or enjoy your food you are going to end up falling off your diet. You will actually fill fuller and lose weight faster by adding carbs to your diet. Check out Dr.Phils diet book it is really helpful. You don't have to buy it if you don't want to your local library should have it. Good luck with your diet.

Why don't you try and add a little more lean protein and green veggies. It is better for you to eat when you are hungry then wait for a set time to eat. Also, smaller more frequent meals are better than large spaced out ones. Also, have a large glass of water before eating to decrease appetite, function better, and reduce dehydration which can cause extra hunger.....
