Well, that is your opinion, and what else do expect to hear on when you come to Pregnancy, and Parenting? There isn't anything more in life than being a parent seems it changes your life!! So, my suggestion would be for you to get a life, and go look at the section about Cats or Dogs.

If you're tired of hearing about it, don't hang out in the Pregnancy and Parenting section of Yahoo Answers! What else to you think people here are going to be talking about?
I agree that there is more to life, but consider the forum before you complain.

Unfortunately you don't have to hang out on parenting sites to find kids inescapable. Overpopulation of the world is also a problem, but is taboo to mention today. People who work but don't have kids actually are the most helpful to our world today.
The football game you attend may feature a toddler kicking you in the back the whole time, the YMCA is overrun with kids., even my golf course has inserted kiddo holes that mess up the fairway. The corse is busy with mostly adult males and makes money for the city, but some jealous powers that be want to insert kids on to it. People want to cut in line with kids, as though they have a tool against being accused of being selfish in the form of a child. Most movie and tv plot lines now lack suspense as any male character who insults a women or a child will be beaten or killed later in the story, and any childless adult male will be presented as either suicidally depressed or criminally insane.
Most public resources heavily are diverted to kids. Adult education has been gutted , and we have a severe lack of skilled tradesmen because trade school and training of men in prison has disappeared almost completely. The biggest expenditure in California is K thru 12, and social security spends BILLIONS (yes with a B) on payments to children. Our leaders, with a severe case of the white knight syndrome would rather do what appears to be right rather than what is right, and will fund anything as long as they can claim "ITS FOR THE CHILDREN".
Sad thing is, children are not coming out any better in these days of over indulgence as autism, obesity , learning disorders, and most negative diagnosis have all dramatically increased compared to the times when children were to be seen and not heard . We should take note from our grandparents play book and put the adults back in charge, Whether or not we have had kids, WE HAVE ALL BEEN ONE, that qualifies us to have an opinion.

Not merely as tired as I am of people asking questions about Paris Hilton,Jen Aniston and Brad and Angelina...stupid questions like that over and over again!!!And once you've reached a certain age sweetheart,pregnancy,parenting and kids is the best thing you can talk about, and there isnt much more to life other than that.... cause THATS as good as it gets....and its great!You should get over it already!

Think you'll be singing a different tune when it comes time to talk about your own kids. Sure we all get sick of hearing about other peoples kids and looking at endless streams of pictures, but that's what parents do. 'Quick Honey! Grab the camera! Junior's made an orange and green doodie!'

Some people are first time parents and they have doubts, questions and concerns and want to talk to someone who went through this already. When you become a parent, kids are ALL you care about.

If you don't like it, why are you in the pregnancy and parenting section? I'm sorry you're barren. That must really suck knowing you're not a "real" woman because you can't conceive. At any rate, that's no reason to take out your anger on the rest of us.

You obviously Do NOT have children, and were probably not hugged enough and told that you were "special" as a child!
Life is all about family, and the joys of innocent children and their laughter. The miracle that is inside a pregnant woman is a gift from God! And yes, God loves even you!!! (with your closed mind, and your one-sided views.)
