Just because I have faith and believe in God, and believe in things like Heaven and Hell, Jesus, the Resurrection, etc...why does that make me an idiot? I'm well-educated, a CPA, hold a good job at a major company making a very good living for my age. I'm not a hypocrite...I don't tell people they're going to Hell because it's not up to me. I leave the judging to God, and I do nice things for people because it's the right thing to do. Why do you have to call me stupid because I believe in something that you don't?

People hate the fact that you are right and they are wrong and you present God with confidence and with courage in knowing that a God exists with more than faith but a actual spiritual relationship that they never sought for. God communicates with you on a daily basis and they don't understand how when all they wanted was a Santa Claus for a god instead of a Infinite being who gives to those who are pure heart and have no hidden agendas. Be encourage. Don't let them upset you because this is what Satan wants which is ur time and energy lost on nonsense of unbelieving sinners.

be a better Christian I have only been one for 3 months. and it bugs me when people call me names like that. Just because we bbelieve does not mean we are stupid or an Idiot. I would imagine some of them have not been raised to respect God and other people, some just seem to be plain mean, and like to damage everything they can't understand, and the rest are just flat out fools! Only thing you can do is ignore the hurtful things and let god handle them. I'd pray for them.

People are afraid that what they believe in may not be the truth and that something else that someone else believes in might just be the real truth. Therefore they have to try to debase everyone else, or kill. they are very sad when they have to fight to believe in their own words. I am a practising wiccan and have been for decades. I do not shout down anyones belief simply because it makes no sense to me. You have your own entitlement, believe and be happy, knowing your way is right, for you. As should everone else........

To have faith is to cast aside reason. Casting aside reason once in a while is no big deal, but to practice doing it over and over again, leads to a huge void in responsibility. That a monster like Hitler can waltz right into.
This is why we do what ever it takes to wake you folks up. And embrace reason as the best way of knowing what is real and what is not. Faith can not ever know what is real, only what is wished was real. .

That makes you a good Xtian then. You dont try to convert everyone, and tell them they are going to hell. Not only Xtians will go to heaven, and it is that belief that makes the rest of the non Xtian world despise your religion for its one sided hypocracy.

Actually, YOU aren't stupid. You're just the sort of Christian who is, sadly, becoming increasingly rare, one who uses the teachings of Jesus as a means to enlightenment, not a a bludgeon.
