Go to College part time - morning, afternoon and evening courses are available. I have done 2 GCSEs part time at college. It's a good way of meeting lots of new people.

The Distance/Home Learning GCSEs and A-Levels you see advertised are a rip off, as you have to buy the text books you need and pay the examination fee on TOP of the fee you give to the provider.

I don't know about doing them on line but if you have a local adult education centre near you you should check them out, most of them do English and maths courses one day a week for a few hours and usually its a free course to people on low incomes.

Yes you can do it, I didn't do well in my exams and have no GCSE's to speak of but I do have a diploma in Psychotherapy and am entitled to use letters after my name! So if I can do that I'm 100% sure you can get the qualifications you want.

Good Luck

All my qualifications were gained through formal exams but with home study or night classes. I applied to the exam boards as an external candidate.
You can do it too and good luck.
