he doesn't exist.

If we accept god doesn't exist - we are free from having to invent silly explanations as to why he stands by and watches pedophiles act out their sick fantacies.

Could you stand by and watch a pedophile abuse a child - as god does?

Here we go again ! Why do you always blame God for some sick Heathen who is truly evil ? Is God the only one you can think of when times are negative? Well I am going to name one other source and that is Satan. Do you actually believe and blame God. When pedophiles abuse children, they are sinning . God says "Suffer Not the Little Children " This is a command from our Heavenly Father. If any one abuses the little Children it is one of the worse un-forgiveable sins. God says that in the Holy Bible. So these pedophiles are going totally against the word of God and ignoring the Gods word. Satan is on a rampage and these people who go against the Word, will die in the eternal fires of Hell. NO NO NO. I would not stand by and watch some dog of a person abuse a child. Christians are here on earth to carry out the word of God. If you are a Christian you would not stand for children to be abused by a pedophile. We are doing Gods work on earth, by putting these sick creeps away. Our Great Nation has been built upon the Commandments and our Legal system helps to carry out Gods word. God does not stand by and watch some Heathen hurt children. It is people who believe the way you do, and that is a scary thing. You got the wrong idea. I suggest strongly that you go and either borrow or purchase the King James version of the Holy Bible. Save this question and then when you understand what you have asked , you will hopefully have the true knowledge of it all. I bet you will feel silly for asking such a illiterate question. Take care and may God bless you and yours , Always.

Or it could simply be that you don't understand the purpose of life, suffering and joy. Everything has a reason and a purpose for occuring. It could be that everyone has free will and free choice to live how they choose and that includes pedophiles, rapists, murderers, liars, etc. Just because those types of people exist shows that God doesn't exist, simply means that humanity as a whole is filled with those who deny their own spirituality, divinity and light and would rather harm others out of their own fear and need to control others.

It takes courage to stand up and shine light and love to all, so few do it or understand why one would do it that they cannot understand the life and world around them anymore.

Mmk let us take a look at our present position.
We live on earth. Ok now Satan is the Prince of this world. Satan is the original evil. Satan fuels the evil in this world such as child abuse. You see there is a spiritual battle going on Satan is out to steal kill and destroy. You see we are on enemy occupied territory aka Satan's territory. I assure that God and his angels are fighting the forces of Satan just as Satan and his demons are fighting the forces of God.
Since you find the sexual abuse of children so detestable as do all why not join the side that hates it too. You see to have a problem with child abuse which is evil which is originally fueled by Satan and if you are not saved then i 'm sorry to say you are on Satan's side. So I suggest get on God's side.
Jesus died for you to give you that chance.

HE has also given mankind the difference to know right from wrong and HIS laws to abide by and obey.

had he not given us the LAW first, then perhaps we would NOT view pedophiles as sexual deviants.

you see, he is not here to control us, only guide us. why? who knows? and anyone who claims to know is full of crap. man has only interpreted HIM but will never fullly understand HIM.

it's like the vegetable kingdom understanding the animal kingdom, it'll never happen, for they will never evolve into that. it sounds funky, but this is a simple as i can make it.

and can any good person stand by and watch a pedophile hurt a child? of course not, but that good person is the child's salvation in the event that they were present put there by GOD to stop it.

and what happens if there is no good person, then that child goes to the authorities and reports the pedophile and the authorities go after the bad guy and put them away using the laws GOD gave us.

I don't believe in this god that you state.
I believe in the creator. He/they put us here as objects to create.
I wish i had all the time to validate this information but at this time I am busy putting it into a book.
The god that you are referring to is all POWER FULL rethink that thought.
Lessen down the (****)ing scale.
I bet your a 30 year old dude that's completely lost I don't understand what is so hard to concept. You can see the facts~ that this world is not good. Therefore you dismiss any essence of god.
LOOK AGAIN!
The chair that I am sitting in did not evolve for me to sit in it.
Neither did the rock outside that i can also sit on.
The god you are referring to made the universe.
That thought alone is the most irrational thought can one could presume.
God would not make many galaxies for no apparent reason.
Just rethink every thing and you may just come up with a non-contradictorily belief like I have.

Or original parents, Adam and Eve sided with the Devil and said "Hey God, we don't need you. We can govern ourselves just fine and do what we want." That was their use of their freedom of choice. So God said "Go right ahead. Give it your best try." So God has allowed us to give it our best try. It's almost over, though. Man's evil cannot be blamed on God. We asked for it. But God does hate what man is doing to himself. Which is why He will step in soon to put and end to wickedness, such as child abuse.

Sin happens to us all.

By your logic nothing if nothing bad happened then that would prove to you that there is a God, yet if bad things do happen, then there must not be a God.

This is not very good logic.

It is because there is sin in the world that bad things happen to us all. Sickness, death, illness etc., are all due to sin. God so loved us that He made a way for us to be freed from all this sin. So when we die, will will live in eternal bliss with Him in heaven.

Had Christ not come then Earth would be our Heaven as Hell would be far far worse.

So there is a God, and by His actions we are able to be freed from sin, death and misery.

Did you ever think that maybe we allow children to be molested? I work with a lot of families where children are left alone with someone the parents don't know. I tell them over and over, "Don't trust your child with anyone", yet they continue to let their children alone with unsafe adults. Parents don't always know the signs that most molesters show - controlling behavior, gift or monetary giving, etc. How many times has someone discovered a relative abused their child and yet, they didn't report him? Parents need to educate themselves and watch their children carefully. We can't blame everything on God.

God gave Man free will. As a survivor, I'm more saddened by the fact that my mother allowed it to happened than what God thinks!

I'm not sure why He allows this to happen but can only hope He has some kind of super-special punishment lined up for them at some point!
