until he turns 18 it is statutory rape, but if you wait to be physical until he is of age, then i see nothing wrong with it. i assume he is emotionally mature enough to be on a level with you? that is important. gl.

Age doesn't really matter in this case. It would matter if he would be 15 and you would be close to 30, but THIS is not a big difference at all. 21-17 is okay, trust me.
Although I think I know where you're coming from. You probably think that it's not appropriate (for the lack of a better term, sorry) just because he's a male and you're a female. But believe me, it doesn't matter. Even if the difference would be huge, the only thing that would matter and would TRULY support the relationship would be your connection, the way your personalities communicate. Age has no relevance when it comes to this kind of connections.

I think of 21 year old women all the time, hardly ever think about 17 year old boys.

It sounds to me like you don't know what you want...yesterday you asked a question about having sex with a 19 and 20 year old...now you have a 17 year old. Sounds like you need to focus a little more on your school work before you try to settle down and have babies.

It shouldn't matter, but as you know he is still not legal. Will he be 18 soon? I really don't think there is a big deal with age as long as it's not like 20 older or something. But try it out!

As long as you are happy and in love, does not really matter cause it is not that much of an age difference. Just be sure this is what you both want and not some weekly thrill.

i'm not usually one about age differences but when you can drink and he can't buy smokes it's not right. try and keep it as a friendship until he's in college too (which at 17 isn't long to wait)

If it's the other way around no way but if you can refrain from partying while he is too young to hang out in the bars and such then you may be ok.

be prepard for some good times and bad times. just because of the age difference alone. but don't think negative all the time and let people get all in your head. just live your life and be the best you can. good luck!
