I know what you mean! I think there are still gentleman out there, chivalry is not dead! It’s on life support but I think it will make a comeback. Now days it seems that if a guy acts like a gentleman most girls (and many people who witness this) think that he wants something from her. That he is being nice for a reason.
Also society is trying to baleens out the new male stereotype, with metro sexuals popping up all over the place, men are becoming more reserved with opening doors and making nice, they need to balance out the newly acquired feminized traits with a more aggressive male actions.
PS my grandmother always used to tell me “if you want to be treated like a lady, act like a lady”
And she’d tell my cousin “if you want a lady act like a gentleman”

It dosen't pay to be a perfect gentleman. You get more results with girls by not falling all over them. The fact that he "treated her like a queen" is all you need to know as to why he didn't (and never will) get any farther than kissing this girl. While I don't endorse treating girls like crap, it gets better results than giving them breakfast in bed, at least at the outset. Save the chivalry for later on in the relationship--like, when he's ready to give her a ring.

Perfect is nothing in this world! not even you nor even me; then why waste time looking for perfection.
In her particulae case, the guy is just taking things slow as far as I can say, i.e not making her rush into anything and let her make her choice at her own time. He is a mature guy and knows what he is doing, unlike another 20 year old guy!

a ideal gentleman is (to be persisted, annabelle) certain, there's a ideal gentleman. he's your husband. a ideal alibi? certain, what your husband at times tells you, so that you'll in no way recognize of his infractions - - - and he keeps to be, on your eyes, a ideal gentleman. a ideal face? i wager it is your face, as considered by using the ideal gentleman. that's why he needs ideal alibis - - he would not favor to lose that ideal face.

Sure there are gentlemen out there!! My husband won me over by being a perfect gentlemen and we raised both of our sons to be perfect gentlemen. Hopefully, they will continue on to raise our grandchildren that way as well.

I think you just made the point for why it's best not to be a gentleman...."they only kiss".
