I use glass cleaner , it has ammonia that cuts through all the dirt and grime , a PGA caddie turned me on to this , also use warm water with a mild detergent to clean grips , if you do this after every round you will have some clean clubs.

I know what you are asking and the answer is to take a screwdriver and wrap 1,000. grit black wet and dry sandpaper to the screwdriver with tape on the outside of both ends, attach to a drill 3/8 preferably then put a little water on the paper and roll back and forth over the surface. Make sure the paper is folded in the dirrection of the spinning drill or it will unwind, also roll over middle of paper staying away from tape. my granddad was a club repair person, my whole family is in golf, trust this.

expensive Mr. M, I merely executed doing this with a sequence I even have not performed with for some years. Please be conscious that i wanted the golf equipment to kook like new and had the time and strategies for the job to be achieved as in case you have been detailing a motor vehicle no longer purely having it washed. purchase at a house progression keep a buffing wheel to in super condition your grinder and after having soaked the golf equipment in water and wiped clean them thoroughly with a complicated bristle brush, buffed the club heads (irons purely) and greater importamtly they have a severe luster end as hostile to a satin or tumble end. Older Ping irons have a tumble end and a bufing wheel will destroy the end. I positioned tape on the section the place the scoring strains, (grooves), are. I used 2 buffing compounds, one to get out the smallest of nicks and percussion marks and an exceedingly final jewelers rouge to very final polish the heads. Then I bumped off the paint fill and wiped clean the markings with acetone. next step develop into to persist with new paint fill which would be offered from any of the bigger ingredient clunmaker supply distributors. Golfsmith and Golworks spring to innovations. finally, take a lint loose fabric and utilising acetone wipe the ferrules very quiuckly and with an exceedingly easy touch and that they're going to look like new. warning: prepare this step on some previous junk club. or you will depart your fingerprints interior the ferrule. They dissolve very at as quickly as with acetone. Your golf equipment will look like new. sharpening tip: vehicle supply shops carry a product stated as cam polish. utilising 0000 steel wool you may rapid polish your club heads with this methodology. it surely relies upon on the point and attempt you have chose to place into the golf equipment. as quickly as I keep golf equipment quite forged carbon steel golf equipment I persist with a sprig of WD 40 and wrap in a plastic sandwich bag taped closed. verify with the ingredient providers. they could have kits or some thing on the ingredient of do the job. solid success. keeping golf equipment finding their superb makes you a greater efficient golfer. informal gamers have airborne dirt and dust and rust on their golf equipment. Be a greater efficient participant.

I simp[ly wash them every ten rounds or so - wet rag and some elbow grease.....Funny thing is, I hate it when I go out next, because they are so shiny it blinds me at certain angles!

Ive learned NEVER to use wire brushes to clean dirt out of the grooves....use a tee and some spit/water and a rag. Wire brushes encourage rust!

having shine on the clubs wont make you play any better. just make sure the groves are always clean and keep the grip clean and dry. if you are making all the par 4s in 2 who cares how shiny your clubs look.
