Islam considers all life forms as sacred. However, the sanctity of human life is accorded a special place. The first and the foremost basic right of a human being is the right to live. The Qur’an says about the one who kills an innocent person: “….it would be as if he killed the whole of mankind: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole of mankind.” [Al-Qur’an 5:32]

Such is the value of a single human life; the Qur’an equates the taking of even one human life unjustly, with killing all of humanity. Thus, the Qur’an prohibits murder in clear terms.

I'm so happy to hear such aware words from a well-understanding person, and hope that chances will be available for Muslims to express themselves well and peace prevails all over the world, as Islam supports peace between different peoples with different cultures and different religions.

actually, "terror" entered the English language, and western languages in general, early in the modern age. its first origin comes from France, after their revolution when they overthrew their tyranical king and tried to institute a democracy in their country. Soon afterwards began "the terrors" in which countless people were killed and disappeared as greedy people vying for power in the vacuum left by the death of the monarch fought and backstabbed each other, and were eventually killed themselves.
In the 225 years since then, terror has always been the first and direct result of supposedly enlightened industrialists bringing "democracy" to the people.
In fact, when it first appeared, it was an unforeseen and lamentable consequence of democracy. But now, our dear politicians have got it down to an art form because keeping people terrorized is such an easy way to control them.
Islamic peoples are just like peoples here in the west, though. When they bomb children riding the bus to school in the morning, or kill the pregnant woman on her way to market, they claim that their enemies have acted so deplorably that they can no longer claim innocence. Thus they are executing people who, while they may not have directly caused death and suffering, have nonetheless knowingly allowed and tolerated elements within their society which wreaked great evil upon the world.
When the followers of Islam say that those murder victims only appear innocent but are responsible for great crimes, or when Americans say all muslims are evil as a way to excuse the destruction, I cannot say in good conscience that either side is wrong.
It is innocence which must be sacrificed in order that we all may learn for the future. In order to make this discovery we must set aside the sanctity of life and we all worship at altars of blood in these days.

As far as I know, (Un)Holy Koran divides the world into two parts- Islamic and Non-Islamic. Even though other religions like Christians, Jews do believe in the Almighty, Islam says that you should believe in "Allah" only. God, etc not allowed. And to prove this, you have to cut of your foreskin (I wonder what they do about females). And Koran teaches that all "Kafurs" should be butchered and this is what is "Zehad". So, I am basically not agreeing with the contents of the question.

well you might have a reasonable thought going if you lost all the quotes

Islam was exposed to greek/roman stuff during things like the crusades. They had no reason to destroy it and the stuff lead to the renaissance.

Now though, they did not neccesarily start the "advent of terror" That was probably less than 10 percent of the entire population

Jews and Christians were not innocents during Muhammad's time.

Your namesake repented for taking a militant stance after he visited Mecca. Unfortunately, elements have corrupted Islam to make it look like a violent religion - but it's not in my book.

Islam had nothing to do with the end of the Dark Ages in Europe. Islam is a cult of murder, violence, and oppression.

You may follow that part of Islam, but others do not. What I would like to know is why people like you are so bent on getting us Infidels to follow your religion while you remain silent against those who claim to follow your "Peaceful Islam" yet are going against the very things you claim IS Islam?

I suggest you start with those who claim to follow Islam, yet contradict it before you try to convert any of us Infidels.

Bit of a mystery isn't it how something so good can be turned by the actions of men into something so evil. Written words never hurt anyone, or caused war, it is only the interpretation by man himself who has done this. power and money are the ultimate evil on this planet. second only to the people who wield them.

Nice try. The key word here is "unjustly". What the Muslims claim to be "just" killing is disturbing. That's the problem. You make is sound so profound and innocent. Who gets to determine what is "just" and "unjust"??

yet in other places the quran says to kill all infidels, heathens and people who convert from Islam. Make up your mind. the quran only holds the lives of Mohammed's followers sacred all others it condemns to death. And it definitely doesn't hold women as sacred
