Which one?

The official Presidential White House is on 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, NW in Washington, D.C. The site was chosen by President George Washington and city planner Pierre L’Enfant in the late 1700s (I believe 1791). Interestingly, the first President to live there was President John Adams in 1800. President Theodore Roosevelt officially gave the White House its current name in 1901; before then, it had been known also as the "President's Palace," the "President's House," and the "Executive Mansion."

Our current U.S. president (George W. Bush) has 'established' a Western Presidential White House. Located in Crawford, Texas, the Western White House is the private ranch home of President and Mrs. George W. Bush.

It has been suggested that the President holds more press conferences in the Western White House than the Official White House.

It's just called the White House. The president lives there, although he has other residences. He has a woodsy retreat at Camp David, Maryland, and his own house, in Crawford Texas, hosts his usual summer get away.

The White house is a funny building because there are resident quarters up stairs and offices throughout the rest of the building - so the president actually "works from home."
